  • The Center was created to provide importers, exporters, customhouse brokers and freight forwarders with in-house corporate training, public seminars, publications and other materials designed to foster compliance with U.S. Import and U.S. Export Regulations.

All too often participants in international trade are unaware of legal requirements or the changes to those legal requirements until those regulations and changes are brought to their attention by federal law enforcement agencies. Anyone involved in international trade who has found themselves in trouble with these governmental agencies can attest to the need to anticipate and prevent such problems before they occur.

The Center for Global Trade Education and Compliance works with individual importers, exporters, customhouse brokers and freight forwarders who recognize that their own compliance with international trade regulations begins with their understanding of those requirements. In addition to providing an out-source solution for corporate training in these important areas, the Center conducts a number of public seminars, often in conjunction with industry and trade associations, civic groups and similar organizations. With certain of such organizations, the Center for Global Trade Education and Compliance develops a relationship through which the Center is retained but the programs are conducted under the auspices of the sponsoring organization with the profit remaining with the sponsoring organization.
